Have you heard of Kouing Aman yet? Well, if you haven’t you will and it is the oft featured (and well deserved) highlight of a visit to Salt Lake City’s Les Madeleines Bakery, it is not the only thing you should try. Everything they prepare is from scratch and uses only the finest ingredients. Fruits are cooked down to their essence, Flour is carefully selected to ensure that gluten content is perfect for the item being prepared and the finest butters salts and chocolates are used to make a treat that can only be described as delectable.
Pastries are not all that is served here though. Breakfast and lunch is possible as well and features light, delicious and unique fare. From wild boar bacon to heirloom tomatoes you are sure to find a full, from scratch meal to please.
All of this love and care has earned Les Madeleines awards and accolades the world over and several features on the Food Network. So get out there and take Day 5 as your day to make a visit to Les Madeleines and try it on day 6, 7, 8, 9, 10……………………..
