Is Green Prefab the future of housing? What is your opinion? I want to know.

My friend Preston over at Jetson Green posted an interesting video on Green Prefab homes put together about Leo Marmold a builder of Green Prefab.

With the concept and build of prefab homes growing rapidly in this country I personally think that prefab is the way of the future and that it is going to become a very acceptable practice everywhere. Prefab offers things that cannot be done in any other way. Things such as rapid build (10-30 days from ground breaking to move-in), everything already in place (appliances, etc) and very minimal site and environmental disruption. All of this with the ability to build very sustainably through recycling and reuse right in the factory.

As agents and public readers of my blog, what do you think about prefab? What would you like to see in prefab that is not being done already? Think about style and design. Are you all about the modern or would you jump all over a prefab bungalow? Do you think it is still just a trailer in disguise?
